Briefly about the construction of gables for Mitek trusses.
Stone or wood?
You need to choose the more convenient or cost-effective method for each project separately.

We recommend installing the trusses first, then erecting the gables, raising them exactly to the level of the roof, and completing the installation of the roof frame (installation of windshield boards, valleys, battens).

Gable truss cladding:
The gable can be made from an ordinary truss. In this project, the insulation was made along the lower belt of the trusses (along the ceiling of the pigsty), so insulation on the gable is no longer needed, and it was covered with ordinary corrugated board.
