About the correct storage of trusses on the construction site
We recommend that you place the trusses in an area where they can be stored immediately after unloading.
Practice shows that unforeseen circumstances can postpone installation for an indefinite period.
The following conditions must be met in order for the trusses to retain their quality and appearance:
1. Install the trusses on temporary supports to avoid wetting from below and contact with the soil.
2. Position the trusses vertically, simulating their design position. Supports should be placed under the nodes, and support the truss evenly and without deflection.
3. Cover/wrap the structures with waterproof material to protect them from precipitation.
If the structures are well covered and eliminate contact with the ground, they can wait for installation for several years.
